'Chattakkari' is the remake of K. S. Sethumadhavan directed 1974 film by the same name based on Pamman's famous novel.        It is a love story of an Anglo-Indian girl and a Hindu boy.She has a child out-of-wedlock in secret.Produced by Suresh Kumar under the banner of Revathy Kalamandir the new Chattakkari is directed by K. S. Sethumadhavan's son - SantoshSethumadhavan.Hemanth Menon and Shamna Kasim don the lead roles and rest of the cat includes HariKrishnan, Innocent, Sukumari, Suvarna.Chattakkari will be releasing in Kerala in June 2012
